Development-Life Skills
Access Care Plus provides Development – Life Skills supports to assist NDIS participants in building the practical, social, and personal skills required to live more independently and confidently in their everyday lives. These supports are designed to enhance a participant’s capacity to manage daily activities, make informed decisions, and work toward achieving their individual NDIS goals across home, community, and social environments.

Our life skills development supports may include assistance with communication skills, personal care routines, time management, budgeting, meal planning, problem-solving, social interaction, and decision-making, with a strong focus on encouraging active participation and skill-building at the participant’s own pace. Supports are delivered using a strengths-based and person-centred approach, ensuring they are tailored to each participant’s abilities, preferences, and cultural considerations.

At Access Care Plus, we are committed to delivering structured and goal-focused life skills supports that promote long-term independence and positive outcomes. We work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, and allied health professionals to ensure supports are aligned with NDIS plans and delivered in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards, empowering participants to increase their independence, confidence, and participation in everyday life.
